The event connects entrepreneurs with officials from the Patent and Trademark Office.
The Department of Commerce’s Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) began its two-day Invention-Con 2024 on Friday in Alexandria, Virginia. The free event connects independent inventors, entrepreneurs, and small business owners with patent and trademark officials.
The in-person conference is paired with virtual access to allow other interested attendees to tune into the discussions online. This allowed as many innovators and creators as possible to learn from other inventors, access Commerce Department resources, and connect with experts in the field of intellectual property. USPTO officials also held round table discussions with company CEOs and product developers who have innovated products for the mass market.
The second day of the conference also offered virtual attendance for interested participants.
